
Braised White Beans with Sausage & Kale
Ingredients
1 lb Lean pork sausage
1 tsp Ground sage
2 Cloves garlic, minced
2 cups Kale, chopped
16 Can no salt added cannellini beans with liquid
1 cup Low sodium broth
¼ cup Parsley, chopped
Directions
In a large skillet, heat pork over medium-high heat. Cook 5-6 minutes, breaking up with a wooden spoon while stirring, until browned. Add garlic and sage. Cook 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Add kale, beans with liquid, and broth and bring to a boil. Scrape up brown bits from the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Reduce heat to simmer and cook 8-10 minutes, sitting occasionally, until liquid is reduced by half and kale is tender.
Scoop into a bowl and garnish with parsley.
